Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.signwithcitrine.com and the notary services provided by Citrine Mobile Notary, a California-based mobile notary business.

By booking a service, submitting a payment, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.


1. Scope of Services

Citrine Mobile Notary provides the following mobile services:

  • Apostille processing

  • Estate planning notarizations

  • General notarial acts

  • Travel to client locations within San Bernardino County and surrounding areas

Services are provided in compliance with California notary law.


2. No Legal Advice Disclaimer

We are not attorneys and are not authorized to provide legal advice or accept fees for legal guidance. Clients are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, legality, and completeness of documents.


3. Booking & Payment

  • Appointments are booked online via our official website.

  • A $62 travel fee deposit is required at the time of booking and applies to all services.

  • Additional fees apply for notarizations beyond those included in your selected package (e.g., additional signers or documents).

  • By booking an appointment, you authorize payment via our secure, third-party processor.


4. Cancellations & Refunds

See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for full details. In summary:

  • Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or clients who arrive 15+ minutes late will forfeit the $62 deposit.

  • No refunds are available once apostille services are submitted to the California Secretary of State.


5. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must present valid, unexpired government-issued identification.

  • All signers must be willing and aware of the documents they are signing.

  • Documents must be complete and ready for notarization. We are not responsible for document content.


6. Limitations of Liability

Citrine Mobile Notary shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to services rendered, including delays due to government processing times or third-party errors.


7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Bernardino County, California.


8. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.


9. Legal Restrictions for California Notaries

Citrine Mobile Notary strictly adheres to California notary laws and guidelines. As such, there are specific actions we are prohibited from performing, including but not limited to:

  • Backdating documents – We are not legally permitted to post-date or pre-date any notarization.

  • Providing legal advice – We do not offer or imply any legal guidance or recommendations.

  • Notarizing incomplete documents – Documents must be fully prepared before notarization; we cannot notarize blank or partially filled-out forms.

  • Notarizing without proper identification – All signers must present valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID.

  • Notarizing for someone who is unaware, unwilling, or appears coerced – All signers must understand and willingly sign their documents.

  • Certifying copies of documents – California notaries may only certify copies of power of attorney documents. All other document copies must be certified by the issuing agency.

*Clients who request any action that violates California notary law will have their appointment terminated immediately and may forfeit service fees.
